Bio
Q. Binh Dam is currently a Lead Power Systems Engineer at GE Energy in Atlanta, where he is responsible for creating the data models and test data for emerging smart grid solutions. His interests include distribution systems modeling and analysis, protective relaying, and power systems reliability.

Dr. Dam also teaches a short course on electric power systems for GE employees. He received the E.E. Diploma in 2003 from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse, France; the M.S.E.E. and Ph.D. degrees in 2003 and 2009, respectively, from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta.
