Cory Chaplin is a director in the Technology Integration Practice of West Monroe with over 12 years of experience focused in IT strategy, systems integration, and application development.  Many of Mr. Chaplin’s roles have dealt with the gap between business processes and technical implementation.  In recent years, Cory has focused on industry relevant issues including Smart Grid systems integration initiatives for WMP’s Energy and Utilities practice.  Over the past 2 years, Cory has led the enterprise IT design and integration effort for a DOE ARRA grant recipient related to their Smart Grid program.  Mr. Chaplin led the technical effort to define the data to be shared between the systems, the integration standards to be used, the system acceptance test planning approach, and the technical integration framework to use.  Mr. Chaplin then led the team through the implementation and testing of the systems and interfaces and is currently working on final testing and system rollout.
