Swinburne University of Technology is actively engaged in applied research and industry collaboration in power systems, energy markets, and digital energy platforms through the Siemens Swinburne Energy Transition (SSET) Hub and out New Energy Technologies research group. Our work focuses on the adoption and advancement of open standards to enable interoperability, transparency, and scalability in modern power systems. The research team contributes to the development and application of CIM and IEC standards through research projects, tool development, and collaboration with industry and academic partners.
